Journal Club¶
Journal clubs can feel intimidating at first, especially when you are new to the field and the papers feel opaque. This track prepares you to participate and present, with the focus on building confidence rather than assuming expertise you do not yet have.
Lessons¶
| Lesson | Topic | What you will learn |
|---|---|---|
| 01: How to Present a Paper | Presenting informally | What to cover, how to frame why you care, and how to keep it short |
| 02: Leading a Discussion | After the talk | Opening the discussion, handling questions you cannot answer, and building confidence |
| 03: Giving Feedback | Being a good audience member | Asking useful questions, offering criticism constructively, and supporting the presenter |
Work through the lessons in order if you are new to journal clubs. If you are already presenting and want specific advice, jump to the lesson that covers what you need.
Templates¶
